Collections
From the beginning the Rovaniemi Art Museum has aspired to exhibit a varied and broad range of Finnish and also some international contemporary art in its changing exhibitions. At least once a year the museum exhibits art from Lapland. Usually the exhibitions are based on invitations. Rovaniemi Art Museum also works together with other art museums when the expenses for larger exhibitions can be shared. A prominent part of the exhibitions are chosen from the artists of the Jenny and Antti Wihuri Foundation collection. The Wihuri Foundation has participated in arranging exhibitions also through special projects. See more about collections in Rovaniemi Art Museum.
